Agritourism Survey

The Kansas Crossroads Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Council and the Kansas Small Business Development Center (KSBDC) are asking you to help them gauge interest in Agritourism in north central Kansas.

Agritourism is the intersection of agriculture and tourism.  It is an opportunity for farmers, ranchers and rural communities to benefit financially from urban guest who want to experience our way of life.  It includes such things as horseback riding, working ranch experiences, pumpkin patches, hunting and fishing, bed and breakfast, wildflower walks, wildlife viewing, vineyards and wineries, and more.  Between 2002 and 2007 Kansas agritourism receipts on farms increased by 5 million dollars (180%).
